NBA Basketball Finals has been electric here in NYC + some low key admin side for this week.

Hey friends!

We back with another week. It’s been a wild one here in NYC with the NBA Finals going on. The city is electric. I haven’t been around a Finals before like this. As an Oregonian and true to my roots being a die-hard Trail Blazer fan, this is as close as I’ve gotten to feeling this. It almost feels similar, as both teams have gotten close but never won in my lifetime. Been a fun week cheering on with my friends who grew up here.

Overall, this week has been more focused on outreach, admin work, and some website updates. I’ve done a few tweaks on the prints page, updated our old photos with more cohesive imagery with framed mockups, etc. I’ve also reached out to a few new wholesale clients here in the States for retail.

Outside of this, have been working on some new sketches for the monthly art drop and keeping it easy. Next week is where the fun begins, and I get back into the groove of things. After a big show like Greenroom, I try to give myself a week to celebrate, relax, and bring in on a new clean slate for ideas to form. Looking forward to this next stage and what paintings I’ll create. Excited for this!
